APGAW is run by Marisa Heath who is responsible for writing reports, letters to Government departments and articles, keeping members updated on issues and organising all meetings and events as well as working alongside the political officers. Marisa has over eight years experience working in local and national Government and has an extensive knowledge of parliamentary process and campaigning. She is aware of the issues affecting associate members and will work alongside them to further their cause within parliament if appropriate.

The RSPCA fund the APGAW for the cost of the secretariat but that person works for the Officers of the Group. The post is managed 2 days a week. For further clarification on this please view the attached document.
